PD @ A Glance
The first order of business is that 7th grade teachers had the most survey submissions from PD this past Wednesday, so YOU GET TO WEAR JEANS ON TUES, 02/07 if you’d like! We had a 30% participation increase from staff this time around & I appreciate all of the thoughtful feedback! It has been recorded, condensed, and communicated to parties that can assist with the updates needed. Attached here you will find the agenda and a few minutes that were captured in case you missed something. 02.01.017 Agenda w/Notes https://goo.gl/T3PtTp
One participant wrote: “Even though it can be time consuming, I appreciate the push for the reward card system because many kids are genuinely buying into it.”
Overall, we had mixed reviews about the effectiveness of our time together and what is beautiful is that we can use the information you share in private to address as many issues as possible. Thanks again Titans, it’s the little stuff that matters.
Upcoming PD Meetings:
*Non-PD Day Staff Hours – 8:05 AM- 4:35 PM based on the language in our contract.
Power Planning on Non-PD Days: Some of the suggested activities to do during this time are, but not limited to, creating lesson plans, entering grades, working in your classroom, or updating student data.
